BIO
James Downing is an autobiographical storyteller. He sings his story from humble beginnings to an honorable term of service in the Marine Corps, where a concussion grenade injury catapulted an opiate addiction into a rock bottom that landed him in a prison cell for 8 1/2 years. Music was always his life, but it wasn’t until his incarceration that his tales found a musical score for him to convey his raw authentic storytelling with a pulse.
